One citizen is killed during a theft operation in Bourj Hammoud.




Mr. Elias Shakib, 80 years-old was accidently killed during a theft operation in Bourj Hammoud on Thursday morning.

Sources told "Tayyar.org" that an unidentified assailant attempted to mug a woman, identified as “Gretta George Abou Suleiman”, prompting another unknown man to intervene by pulling out his gun and firing at the perpetrator. However, the gunfire ended up killing Shakib. 

Security forces arrived and cordoned off the incident area and launched the investigation into the incident.
