Nehmetallah Fares Abi Nasr:
Born in 1936 in Shnani’ir. Husband of Samia Adm, and father or three.
Holder of a law degree from Saint Joseph University (the Jesuit University in Beirut), attorney in Appeal.
Head of the Christian Democratic Union of Lebanon. Member of the Maronite League’s executive council, and former Secretary General of the same league. Participant member of the World’s Union of Christian Democratic parties. Has participated in the preparations for the “Synod for Lebanon”, launched by Pope John Paul II in May 1997 after the latter's visit to Lebanon.
Elected MP in 2000, and reelected in 2005 on the "Change and Reform" list headed by General Michel Aoun.
