After the new organization of the Free Patriotic Movement in September 2005, the Syndicate Committee was created to represent all the members of the syndicate body of a certain profession or service at a private or public institution; it will be similar to an executive panel for this body.

This Committee consists of:

The Committee has many counselors from different syndicate bodies, to whom it refers whenever necessary.

The functions of the Committee are as follows:
- To attend to the affairs of the activists in every syndicate;
- To follow up the matters relating to the alumni associations of every syndicate;
- To follow up and treat the syndicate electoral matters;
- To establish request programs and developmental and syndicate projects;
- To organize the active groups in all syndicates and professional associations, particularly labor syndicates and employer syndicates;
- To coordinate with syndicate bodies in other parties;
- Professional guidance to guide school and university students to wards the specializations required by the labor and profession market in the future, in coordination with the other concerned committees in the Party;
- To embrace fresh graduates and affiliate them to the Syndicate Committee at the Free Patriotic Movement;
- To supervise all syndicate committees and coordinate all the projects and activities of such committees;
- To coordinate electoral and political syndicate alliances.
